Woman Killed in Accident in Riverside County
RIVERSIDE COUNTY, Calif. (August 4, 2023) — Bonnie Leue, 57, of Jurupa Valley, died in a pedestrian accident at Van Buren Boulevard and Belgrave Avenue in Jurupa Valley.
The traffic accident occurred around 12:32 a.m. on August 4th, according to the Riverside County Sheriff Coroner.
The woman, identified as Bonnie Leue, was struck by a vehicle due to unknown circumstances. She suffered major injuries and died at the scene within minutes at 12:40 a.m., the report said. Cal Fire responded and pronounced her dead upon their arrival.
The driver of the vehicle stopped and is cooperating with the investigation.
Investigators with the Jurupa Valley Traffic Collision Reconstruction Team are working on the case to determine the cause of the accident and liability. Witnesses may contact Deputy Oscar Chavez at the Jurupa Valley Sheriff’s Station by calling (951) 955-2600.
