Car Crashes into Semi-Truck on I-15 Freeway in Bonsall
BONSALL, Calif. (Oct. 13, 2022) — A car crashed into the back of a semi-truck that became disabled on the right side of the Interstate 15 Freeway Thursday morning at Old Highway 395.
The fatal, two-vehicle collision occurred in the southbound lanes of the I-15 about 7:15 a.m. on Oct. 13th, according to a California Highway Patrol dispatch.
Furthermore, the driver from the sedan suffered serious injuries in the collision after the vehicle crashed underneath the rear of the big rig truck.
Paramedics requested an air ambulance to transport the injured motorist to a hospital. However, the motorist later died from their injuries.
Meanwhile, tow trucks removed the damaged sedan from the freeway and CHP officials inspected the semi-truck on scene.
Investigators are working on the case to determine fault for the Bonsall crash on the Interstate 15 Freeway.
