1 Killed, 2 Injured in Bonsall Crash at Lilac Road and Old Highway 395
BONSALL, San Diego County (October 3, 2018) – A fatal traffic collision occurred in the area of West Lilac Road and Old Highway 395 on Wednesday evening, according to San Diego Union Tribune.
The accident took place in North County just before 7:40 p.m., just west of Interstate 15 Freeway.
As per the article, California Highway Patrol and fire department said for an unknown reason two vehicles collided at the intersection of Lilac Road and Old Highway 395.

One of the cars involved plunged down 100 feet down an embankment as a result of the crash. Two people were seen exiting the vehicle and climbing to the top of the hill after the wreck.
Firefighters along with the paramedics responded to the scene and confirmed that one person was killed upon impact. The two occupants of the car that went down an embankment suffered minor or moderate injuries.
The names of the deceased and wounded parties have not been yet released. Meanwhile, the cause of the incident remains under investigation.
