Civilian Injured in Collision at Otay Mountain Wilderness
Dulzura, CA (July 10, 2022) – At least one person suffered injuries following a car crash that occurred on the Otay Mountain truck trail Saturday evening.
According to the San Diego Union-Tribune News, a Border Patrol truck collided with an off-road recreational vehicle in the Otay Mountain Wilderness. Earlier reports indicated the accident took place at approximately 7 p.m.
At Least 1 Hurt in Car Crash in Dulzura
Medical personnel later arrived at the crash site and found the off-road recreational vehicle with significant damage. The article published online mentioned on civilian sustained minor injuries as a result of the collision. Personal information on the victim remained undisclosed pending confirmation.
Meanwhile, the Border Patrol agent driving the truck appeared unharmed after the incident.
Detectives handing the case stayed at the scene the whole evening. They continue to investigate the precise circumstances that led up to the crash on the Otay Mountain Truck Trail.
