Major Injury Collision Near Manzanita Road Thursday
Boulevard, CA (March 3, 2022) – A motorcycle rider suffered injuries following a traffic crash that occurred on Interstate 8 Thursday, according to the California Highway Patrol dispatch.

Earlier reports indicated a motorcyclist collided with another vehicle in the eastbound side of I-8, also known as Kumeyaay Highway.
The CHP logged the incident at about 1:07 p.m.
When emergency crews arrived at the site, they found the rider lying on the ground. Responding paramedics rendered aid to the motorcyclist. Our sources mentioned the victim sustained major injuries as a result of the wreck. Pending confirmation, the name and age of the victim remained undisclosed.
Several factors surrounding the collision have not been discussed thus far. At this time, investigators continue to work to determine the precise cause of the traffic accident on Interstate 8 in Boulevard.
