
Deadly Pedestrian Accident Near Waterman Avenue
San Bernardino, CA (March 18, 2023) – A 15-year-old boy died following a traffic crash that occurred on the Interstate 10 Freeway Wednesday night, March 15.
According to Daily Bulletin News, a police officers, San Bernardino County sheriff’s deputies, and firefighters were searching for a juvenile considered at risk. Earlier reports indicated the boy was last seen on a small red bicycle riding away from a church at the 5th and Wabash Avenue.
Juvenile Killed in San Bernardino Collision
At about 9:30 p.m., authorities received reports about an individual struck by one or more vehicles in the westbound side of I-10 near Waterman Avenue. Emergency crews responded to the accident scene and found the missing 15-year-old lying unconscious in the roadway. Medical personnel performed life-saving measures to the victim but he sadly succumbed to his injuries and passed away.
Officials mentioned they found a semi truck stopped at the scene. Meanwhile, the make and model of other cars involved in the collision remained undisclosed.
At this time, detectives continue to investigate several unclear factors surrounding the deadly accident that happened on Interstate 10 in San Bernardino.
