Boy, 3, Seriously Hurt in Hit-and-run Halloween Pedestrian Accident
SAN BERNARDINO, Calif. (Nov. 5, 2020) — A 3-year-old San Bernardino boy was seriously injured on Halloween night in a pedestrian hit-and-run crash on Sierra Way.
The collision was reported at 8:17 p.m. on Saturday, October 31st, according to the San Bernardino Police Department.
Several people called 911 to report a child being struck by a vehicle. Paramedics responded and rushed the injured boy to a hospital. He was treated for serious injuries and is expected to survive.

Meanwhile, the vehicle that struck the boy was described as a “possible older Toyota 4-door, silver or gray color, with a spoiler on the rear.” The driver failed to stop and help the boy as required under California law. Instead, the motorist fled the crash scene and was last seen heading north on Sierra Way.
It is unknown at this time if speed, alcohol, or drugs, were factors in this collision.
