Child Dies in Traffic Collision at Porter Avenue at Avenue 432 Thursday
Visalia, CA (December 30, 2021) – An 8-year-old boy suffered fatal injuries following a suspected DUI car crash in the area of Porter Avenue and Avenue 432.
According to Your Central Valley, the juvenile was a passenger in a vehicle traveling in the streets of Visalia. Earlier reports indicated the driver of the car failed to stop at a marked stop sign at the intersection of Porter Avenue and Avenue 432.
The article published online mentioned the vehicle drifted off the roadway and slammed into a power transmission pole.
Shortly after 4:30 a.m., rescue teams arrived at the location. First responders found the young passenger unconscious. Despite life-saving measures, the victim succumbed to their injuries and died.
Authorities said the female driver showed signs of intoxication when the horrible crash happened. The relationship of the driver and the passenger killed in the collision have not been discussed thus far.
Investigators continue to work to determine other factors surrounding the deadly car crash at Porter Avenue and Avenue 432.
