1 Hospitalized After Car vs. Truck Crash on Soto Street Monday
Boyle Heights, CA (April 12, 2021) – At least one person suffered major injuries following a traffic accident on Soto Street in Boyle Heights, the Los Angeles County Fire Department reported.
According to the accident dispatch, a van collided with a large container truck in the 1715 block of Soto Street. The force from the impact caused the smaller vehicle to be pinned underneath the truck.

When firefighters arrived at the site, they found an occupant in the van trapped in the wreckage. Rescue teams skillfully extricated the victim, then checked his condition. After the evaluation, paramedics rushed the injured adult male to a regional trauma center for treatment.
Additional details on the car and truck accident on Soto Street remained undisclosed. Given that, detectives assigned to handle the case continue to investigate the precise cause of the tragic incident.
