Woman Injured in Boyle Heights Crash
BOYLE HEIGHTS, Calif. (August 25, 2021) — A Boyle Heights motorcycle crash happened Wednesday morning on the Interstate 5 Freeway at Boyle Avenue.
The collision happened about 11:42 a.m. on August 25th, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The CHP report a blue Honda CRV collided with a Dodge Ram and a motorcycle.
The Honda suffered major front-end damage in the collision. All vehicles blocked the Nos. 1 and 2 lanes of the freeway following the Boyle Heights motorcycle crash.
Authorities requested an ambulance to respond due to a woman out of a vehicle on the ground. It’s unknown at this time if she was riding on the motorcycle. Also, the CHP didn’t mention how many people suffered injuries in the collision. The report did not release the woman’s identity.
Additionally, it’s unknown what led up to the multi-vehicle crash today in Boyle Heights.
Meanwhile, investigators seek to determine liability for the collision.
