Brad Bermann, 24, Injured in Fairfield Crash Near Highway 12 and Beck Avenue
FAIRFIELD, CA (April 23, 2021) – A fatal car crash near Highway 12 and Beck Avenue injured Brad Bermann in Fairfield.
The California Highway Patrol identified the 24-year-old Vacaville man as one of the several motorists injured in the wreck on Thursday.
The incident happened when Brad Bermann was driving a Subaru WRX in the fast lane of eastbound Highway 12 in Fairfield. At the same time, four more cars were traveling in the same direction.
For an unknown reason, a Dodge Ram failed to stop for traffic at Beck Avenue. Its driver, 35-year-old Vallejo resident Michael Solis, then struck the rear of a Chevrolet Camaro.

The Chevrolet and the Dodge ultimately hit the other four vehicles, including the Subaru. The Reporter and The Daily Republic wrote that the accident occurred on April 22 shortly before 5:30 p.m.
Firefighters along with the paramedics responded to the scene and found Brad Bermann suffering from minor injuries as a result of the collision.
They took him to the Kaiser Permanente Vacaville Medical Center for treatment. Meanwhile, CHP affirmed that the male driver of the Camaro died following the wreck.
Medical personnel attended to the other four motorists who also sustained minor wounds. Officers at the site forced the road to shut down for a time after the collision.
The cause of the Fairfield crash is still under investigation.
