Brandon Jackson Identified as ATV Rider Killed in Oakland Car Accident
OAKLAND, Calif. (Nov. 5, 2019) — Brandon Jackson, 32, has been identified as the rider of an all-terrain vehicle killed Saturday night in a collision with a car in the 8000 block of Rudsdale Street in East Oakland.
Brandon Jackson, who lived in Oakland, was riding his ATV eastbound on Rudsdale when a driver in a Toyota Camry traveling in the opposite direction turned in front of the ATV. The car was making a southbound turn into a driveway when the ATV driver crashed into it at 7:13 p.m., according to the East Bay Times.
The 36-year-old Oakland driver of the Toyota did not suffere any known injuries. The person stopped and remained at the scene to speak with police.
Authorities investigating the crash do not suspect alcohol and drugs were factors in the collision.
