SOUTH WHITTIER, Calif. (June 4, 2018) – Two motorcyclists collided Sunday night in unincorporated South Whittier, leaving one of them dead and the other injured, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The victim who died was later identified as Brandon Laboy, 22.
The collision took place about 8:32 p.m. The other rider was taken to UCI Medical Center in Orange in unknown condition.
It’s unknown at this time what led to the crash, nor whether other motorists were involved.
TRAFFIC ACCIDENT INVESTIGATION
Police are investigating this collision to determine the cause and liability. There are certainly many unanswered questions regarding what led to this crash and whether or not there were any traffic violations.
