Brandon Lane ID’d as Bicyclist Killed in Hit-and-run Truck Accident
TULARE, Calif. (Dec. 28, 2017) — Brandon Lane, 37, has died in a Christmas Eve collision between his bicycle and a semi-tractor trailer truck on J Street, just north of Cross Avenue, according to a report by The Fresno Bee.
The collision took place about 8:30 p.m. and the truck driver did not stop as required under California law. Lane had been riding northbound on J Street when he was struck by the motorist.
Witnesses gave a description of the truck to police who are investigating the crash.
