Passengers, Gretta Flores, 24, Ismael Rodarate, 24, and Scarlet Estrada, Hurt in Crash
MADERA, Calif. (June 11, 2018) — Brandon Wade Dees, 28, of Madera, was charged with driving under the influence following a major injury crash Sunday night on Highway 99, according to the Fresno Bee.
The crash took place about 7:30 p.m. after Dees reportedly made an unsafe turn to the right and veered off the roadway and into a tree on the shoulder. The driver and his three passengers were all trapped in the 2014 Kia sedan and extricated by firefighters. The victims, identified as Gretta Vasquez Flores, 24, Ismael Meza Rodarate, 24, and Scarlet Rose Estrada, 20, all of Madera, were all taken by ambulances to Community Regional Medical Center in Fresno.

The driver of this vehicle is suspected to be under the influence of alcohol and or drugs. A full investigation into the matter continues, but meanwhile, there were multiple people hurt that require medical treatment. We hope they are all getting the care they need for a full recovery.
