At Least 1 Badly Hurt in Traffic Collision on Highway 86 Saturday
Brawley, CA (July 24, 2021) – The California Highway Patrol group reported a car accident that occurred on State Route Highway 86 Saturday morning.
At about 5:55 a.m., a vehicle crashed for an unknown reason on the part of the highway near Fredericks Road in Brawley. First responders found a car veered off the roadway. The automobile came to a rest approximately 80 feet away from traffic, and into a nearby field.

Responding medical personnel immediate checked the conditions of all parties involved in the wreck. After the evaluation, officials confirmed at least one person suffered major injuries as a result of the incident. The name of the victim, and their condition at this time have not been revealed thus far.
Detectives continue to work to determine several factors surrounding the car accident in Brawley. Further investigation on the case is underway.
