1 Injured in Brawley Car Crash at Highway 86 and Kalin Road
BRAWLEY, CA (June 8, 2021) – One was hospitalized after a car crash at Highway 86 and Kalin Road in Brawley.
The California Highway Patrol received a call about the accident on Tuesday night. According to their dispatch team, officers reported the wreck at around 9:45 p.m.
Two vehicles collided for an unknown reason in Brawley. The report log said they crashed on Highway 86 at the intersection with Kalin Road.
2 Cars Collide in Brawley
CHP described the cars involved as a black Honda Civic and a gray Nissan Rogue. Firefighters along with the paramedics soon responded to the scene.
Medical personnel then found one person who ended up hurt as a result of the collision. They took the patient to the Pioneers Memorial Hospital for treatment of minor injuries.
Officials did not disclose the name of the wounded party and their condition at this time. Meanwhile, CHP forced the area of Highway 86 and Kalin Road to shut down following the crash.
Authorities are still investigating the cause of the Brawley collision.
