Napa, CA (June 29, 2021) – Police arrested 18-year-old Brayan Roger Sanchez following a major car accident that occurred on Silverado Trail on June 26, Saturday.

According to Napa Valley Register, Brayan Sanchez was driving a 2009 Chevrolet heading south on Silverado Trail. When the teen driver approached the area near Yountville Cross Road, he lost control of the Chevrolet and allowed the car to leave the pavement. Officials said the vehicle ended up hitting trees and bushes.

Passenger Hospitalized After DUI Car Crash in Napa County, June 26

Emergency crews arrived at the crash site and found a female passenger with serious injuries. Due to the condition of the 18-year-old Calistoga woman, paramedics rushed them to Providence Queen of the Valley Medical. The patient received treatment for minor injuries, authorities said.

Meanwhile, investigators determined Brayan Sanchez was drunk at the time of the collision. For this reason, California Highway Patrol officers arrested the young man; and booked him into the Napa County jail on suspicion of causing injury by driving under the influence.

Further investigation on the DUI car crash in Napa County is ongoing.
