1 Killed, 2 Injured in Brea Crash on Carbon Canyon Road
BREA, CA (March 20, 2023) – A car crash killed one person and injured two others on Carbon Canyon Road in Brea.
According to an article published by The Orange County Register, the tragic accident took place on Monday night. Officers reported the wreck on March 20 at about 8:01 p.m.
The incident happened when two vehicles collided head-on for an unknown reason in Brea. The cars crashed on Carbon Canyon Road, east of Olinda Village.
2 Vehicles Collide
Firefighters along with the paramedics soon arrived and pronounced one driver dead at the scene. The two occupants of the other vehicle ended up hurt as a result of the collision.
Police said both patients sustained non-life-threatening injuries upon impact. Medical personnel then rushed them to hospitals for treatment.
The names of the deceased and wounded parties have not been yet released. Meanwhile, police forced a stretch of Carbon Canyon Road to shut down for a time following the wreck.
The cause of the fatal Brea crash is still under investigation.
