Pedestrian Killed in Car Accident on Edison Highway
BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (Nov. 22, 2021) – Breanna Palomino, 24, of Bakersfield, was identified as the pedestrian who died at the hospital following a car accident earlier this month on Edison Highway.
Furthermore, the traffic accident happened after 6 p.m. back on Wednesday, Nov. 10th, according to Bakersfield Now.
A vehicle struck the young Bakersfield woman in the 1999 block of Edison Highway, police said. It happened west of Chamberlain Avenue.

Paramedics responded to the scene and located the injured woman lying on the ground. They performed life-saving measures to the victim and transported her by ambulance to a hospital. However, Breanna Palomino later died at the hospital due to her injuries.
Meanwhile, there is no further information available regarding the driver or the vehicle involved in the collision.
Detectives continue to work at this time to determine the precise cause of the fatal crash on Edison Highway in Bakersfield.
Later, the Kern County coroner identified the woman who died as Breanna Palomino.
CHP officers are investigating the collision.
