2 Injured in Brentwood Crash on Balfour Road Near Eagle Rock Way
BRENTWOOD, CA (April 7, 2021) – Two were hospitalized after a car crash along Balfour Road in Brentwood on Monday night.
According to an article published by The Press, the accident occurred on April 5. Officers reported the wreck shortly before 10 p.m.
Police said a silver Nissan sedan and a black Mercedes sedan collided for an unknown reason. The two crashed on Balfour Road near the intersection with Eagle Rock Way in Brentwood.
Car Collision Near Chevron Gas Station
The incident happened when a car was going west on Balfour. At the same time, the other vehicle pulled out of the Chevron gas station on the same road.
Firefighters along with the paramedics soon responded to the scene. They took the two occupants of the Nissan to a local hospital with minor to moderate injuries.
Medical personnel evaluated the driver of the Mercedes at the crash site. Officials did not disclose the names of the involved parties and their condition at this time.
Meanwhile, police closed both the eastbound and westbound sides of Balfour Road following the crash. Authorities are still determining the cause of the wreck.
