1 Badly Injured in Brentwood Crash on Apricot Way Thursday
BRENTWOOD, CA (August 26, 2021) – One was badly injured after a car crash on Apricot Way in the city of Brentwood.
According to an article published by the KRON 4 News, the accident took place on Thursday afternoon. Officers reported the wreck at around 3:54 p.m.
The East Contra Costa Fire Protection District said three cars collided for an unknown reason on Apricot Way in Brentwood.
Multiple Cars Collide
One of the vehicles involved, a pickup truck, came to a rest with damage on the sidewalk of the road. Another car obtained a broken tire upon impact.
Firefighters along with the paramedics soon arrived at the scene and found a total of four people involved in the incident. They confirmed that one person ended up hurt as a result of the collision.
Medical personnel then took the patient to a local trauma center for treatment of moderate injuries. Officials did not release the name of the wounded party and their condition at this time.
Meanwhile, police forced a stretch of Apricot Way to shut down following the Brentwood crash. Authorities are still determining the cause of the wreck.
