1 Badly Injured in Brentwood Crash on Walnut Boulevard Near Eureka Avenue
BRENTWOOD, CA (April 17, 2021) – One was badly injured after a DUI crash along Walnut Boulevard in Brentwood.
According to an article published by The Press, the accident occurred on Friday night. Officers reported the wreck on April 16 shortly after 10 p.m.
The California Highway Patrol said a Honda Civic and a GMC Yukon collided on Walnut Boulevard in Brentwood. The two crashed near the Eureka Avenue intersection.
DUI Suspect Arrested After Car Collision
Firefighters along with the paramedics responded to the scene and found both cars with significant damage. They attended to the female driver of the Honda who ended up hurt as a result of the collision.
Medical personnel took her to the Sutter Delta Medical Center in Antioch for treatment of moderate injuries. They did not release her name and condition at this time.
Officials also transported the man driving the GMC with unspecified injuries. They later determined that he was under the influence at the time of the incident.
Authorities soon arrested him for DUI and other possible charges. The Brentwood DUI crash is still under investigation.
