Major Injury Motorcycle Crash on State Route Highway 4
BRENTWOOD, Calif. (Dec. 1, 2022) — A major injury motorcycle versus SUV accident happened Thursday morning on State Route Highway 4, just west of the Marsh Creek Road on ramp.
The collision occurred on the westbound Hwy 4 about 11:46 a.m. on Dec. 1st, according to a California Highway Patrol dispatch.
A person riding a sports motorcycle went down in a collision with the SUV. The bike wound up in westbound lanes.
Paramedics responded to help those hurt in the crash. The motorcyclist suffered major injuries and an ambulance transported the person to John Muir Medical Center.
Meanwhile, tow trucks removed at least one of the damaged vehicles from the freeway.
Investigators are working on the case to determine fault.
