2-Vehicle Collision Near Sand Creek Road
Brentwood, CA (March 19, 2023) – A traffic accident involving a school bus occurred in the area of O’Hara Avenue and Sand Creek Road, according to the Press News.
Car Hits School Buss in Brentwood
Officials said a man was behind the wheel of a BMW 328i traveling north on O’Hara Ave. For reasons still unclear, the driver lost control of their car; and ended up jumping over the center median of the road. The article published online mentioned the BMW slammed head-on into a southbound school bus with two kids onboard.
The accident was reported on March 16, Thursday.
Rescue teams arrived at the scene shortly after 2:45 p.m. Responding paramedics later checked the conditions of the students on the bust, and all other parties involved in the wreck. No immediate information was available on the conditions of the juveniles found at the scene.
Investigators believed speed contributed to the collision. At this time, detectives continue to work to determine several unclear factors surrounding the car crash that happened at O’Hara Avenue and Sand Creek Road in Brentwood.
