Vehicle Strikes, Kills Man Near Mack Road Tuesday
Sacramento, CA (March 5, 2022) – Brett Evan Harill, a 55-year-old man, died following a pedestrian accident that occurred on Highway 99 on March 1.
The CBS News reported a vehicle struck a male party in the southbound side of the highway in South Sacramento. Officials mentioned the horrible crash took place near Mack Road.

Shortly after 9:30 p.m., emergency crews arrived at the site. Responding paramedics found a man lying on the ground. Despite life-saving measures performed by medical personnel, the victim sadly succumbed to their injuries and died. Authorities later identified the deceased as Brett Evan Harill.
Police said they shut down at least two lane on SR-99 to give way to the investigation process. At this time, detectives continue to work to determine liability in the deadly pedestrian accident on Highway 99 in Sacramento.
