1 Killed in Car Accident on Highway 4
ANTIOCH, Calif. (January 26, 2021) – Brian Burrow, 59, of Antioch, died following a two-vehicle Antioch traffic collision on Highway 4.
The East County Today reported the collision on Tuesday, Jan. 19th.
Two cars crashed in the westbound lanes of Highway 4, just west of Interstate 680, according to the California Highway Patrol.
A black Ford F-150 driven by Burrow overturned. An oncoming white Ford F-150 pickup truck struck the overturned pickup.
Apparently, the white Ford pickup was traveling behind the first vehicle and its driver was unable to avoid the crash.
Brian Burrow suffered fatal injuries as a result of the wreck. Meanwhile, the driver of the white Ford suffered minor injuries and was transported to a local hospital for treatment.
Additional details on the tragic incident have not been released at this time.
Furthermore, investigators handling the case will piece together evidence and determine fault.
