Brian Crowford, 59, Killed in Yuba County Hit-and-Run Crash on Highway 70
YUBA COUNTY, CA (July 20, 2021) – Brian Crowford was killed after a hit-and-run crash on Highway 70 in Yuba County.
The sheriff’s office identified the 59-year-old Linda man as the victim of the fatal wreck which occurred last week on Thursday.
The incident began when Brian Crawford was riding a 2009 Harley Davidson south in the slow lane of Highway 70 in Yuba County.
Motorcyclist Hit by Vehicle
The California Highway Patrol said for an unknown reason, a vehicle in the No. 1 lane merged into the slow lane. In the process, the driver struck the motorcycle.
The two crashed north of Feather River Boulevard. KUBA Radio wrote that the accident took place on July 15 at around 9:50 p.m.
Brian Crawford died at the scene of the Highway 70 crash. Meanwhile, CHP affirmed that the other motorist did not stop to render aid following the wreck.
The suspect then fled the area. The Yuba County hit-and-run collision is still under investigation.
