Hit-and-run Driver Sought for Fatal Crash
FRESNO, Calif. (July 25, 2023) — Brian Davis, 29, of Fresno, died in a hit-and-run pedestrian accident Friday night at Dudley Avenue near Valentine Avenue.
The collision occurred around 10:30 p.m. on July 21st, according to the California Highway Patrol (CHP).
A westbound driver in a 2017 to 2019 Chevrolet Trax struck the man who was walking in the westbound lane of Dudley Avenue.
The driver reportedly fled the scene of the crash without stopping to help the victim who wound up on the north shoulder of Dudley Avenue. The man died at the scene and was later identified as Brian Davis by the Fresno County Sheriff Coroner.
Meanwhile, authorities investigating the crash scene found evidence at the scene suggesting the suspect’s vehicle was a 2017-2019 Chevrolet Trax.
