3 Hospitalized After Collision Near Mono Way Saturday
Jamestown, CA (October 20, 2021) – Several people, including 52-year-old Brian McGregor suffered injuries following a car crash that occurred on Highway 108.
On October 16, Saturday, multiple vehicles collided near Mono Way. The Union-Democrat News reported a 2015 Toyota Tacoma pickup was traveling east on the highway in Jamestown. Per article published online, the Toyota approached the slower moving a 2007 Chevy Avalanche driven by Brian McGregor.
Officials believed the Toyota driver attempted to pass the Chevy; and drove on the right shoulder of the highway. In the process, the left side of the Toyota struck the right side of the Chevy.
Due to the force from the impact, the Chevy ended up veering into the westbound lane of SR-108. The Chevy drove into the path of an oncoming 2007 Dodge pickup towing a trailer.
Authorities added the Chevy hit the right side of the trailer of the Dodge and eventually drove off the north edge of the highway. Subsequently, the Chevy went down the north embankment and came to a stop after the right front side struck a boulder.
Our sources mentioned the driver of the Toyota sadly died as a result of the collision.

Meanwhile, three other parties, including Brian McGregor, sustained injuries as a result of the wreck. Responding paramedics treated Brian McGregor at the scene.
Additional details on the incident have not been discussed thus far. At this time, detectives continue to work to determine exactly how and why the car crash on Highway 108 happened.
