
Homeless Man Struck, Killed on Highway 4 is Identified
BRENTWOOD, Calif. (April 6, 2023) — Brian Posch, 50, died in a pedestrian accident on Highway 4 last month at Lone Tree Way in Brentwood.
The deadly crash occurred around 3:30 a.m. on March 30th, according to East Bay Times.
The 50-year-old man was reportedly struck by a red Toyota Camry on the eastbound Highway 4 on-ramp Lone Tree Way due to unknown circumstances, the California Highway Patrol said. The man suffered major injuries and died at the scene.
His identity was released on Wednesday by the Contra Costa County Coroner’s Office.
The driver of the red Toyota Camry stopped and cooperated with the investigation.
Police did not make any arrests and there were no other injuries.
Finally, the CHP will determine fault for the crash that killed Brian Posch.
