Brittainy Lamerill, 24, Hit and Killed by Vehicle on Walnut Street Friday
Red Bluff, CA (December 31, 2020) – A 24-year-old woman died following a pedestrian accident on Walnut Street on December 18, Friday.
The Red Bluff Daily News reported Brittainy Lamerill stepped into the traffic lanes on Walnut near Bayles Avenue. The horrible crash happened when a passing 2007 Buick SUV, heading west on Walnut, failed to avoid the woman. The SUV struck Lamerill at approximately 4:30 p.m., police said.

Shortly after the incident, emergency teams arrived at the site. Medical personnel reportedly performed life-saving measures to Lamerill but she sadly succumbed to her injuries. Paramedics pronounced the female pedestrian dead at the scene.
Meanwhile, the identity of the driver involved in the unfortunate event and their condition after the collision remained undisclosed.
Several factors surrounding the fatal crash have not been revealed thus far. Given that, investigators handling the case continue to work to determine the precise cause of the deadly pedestrian accident in Red Bluff.
