
Pedestrian Killed in Lancaster is Identified
LANCASTER, Calif. (June 26, 2024) – Brittany Brown, 30, was struck by a vehicle and killed early Tuesday morning on Avenue I at 15th Street East in the Lancaster area.
The young woman was identified by the Los Angeles County Department of Medical Examiner.
The traffic accident occurred at about 2 a.m. on Tuesday, June 25th, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department and MyNewsLA.
The sedan was westbound on Avenue I when its driver struck the woman who was walking in the west bicycle lane, police said. Brittany Brown was critically injured in the crash and died at the scene.
Meanwhile, authorities are working to determine liability for the crash and whether speed or alcohol were factors.
