Fatal Truck Accident on Avenue 12
MADERA, Calif. (Sept. 3, 2024) — Brittany Robbins, 37, died in a crash involving another car and a truck Friday at Avenue 12 and Riverstone Boulevard in Madera.
A semi-truck pulling double trailers, a Chrysler, and a Nissan were involved in the collision at 5:43 a.m. on August 30th, according to ABC 30 News and the California Highway Patrol.
The driver in the Chrysler was traveling westbound on Avenue 12 before the vehicle stopped to make a left-hand turn onto Riverstone Boulevard.
However, the semi-truck traveling behind a man driving a Chrysler and was unable to to stop. The truck reportedly rear-ended the Chrysler and pushed it into a Nissan occupied by Brittany Robbins. She suffered fatal injuries in the collision and the man was treated for undisclosed injuries.
CHP officials are working to determine fault for the Madera crash on Avenue 12.
