Fatal Crash Involving Truck on Highway 198, (Dorris Ave)
COALINGA, Calif. (Jan. 16, 2018) – Brittni Frace, 20, a former Atascadero High School track star, was killed in a collision between the vehicle and a semi-tractor trailer truck Tuesday morning on State Route Highway 198, according to the California Highway Patrol.
She was a passenger riding in the SUV driven by Brynn Frace.
The crash took place in front of 24798 W Dorris Ave (SR-198) about 10:04 a.m. between the two vehicles. The Chevrolet Tahoe SUV reportedly pulled out of a gas station and into the path of the 2014 Peterbilt driven by Terry Lee Keeling, 52, of Exeter. Brynn Frace suffered major injuries in the collision and was taken to a hospital.
The vehicles were blocking the roadway near the Interstate 5 Freeway and the coroner was called to the scene.
