Fatal Empire Motorcycle Crash South Santa Fe Avenue

 Bruce Rummerfield Fatal Empire Motorcycle Accident Santa Fe and South Avenues EMPIRE, Calif. (August 3, 2021) – Bruce Rummerfield, 53, of Stockton, is one of two people who died Tuesday night in a motorcycle collision in Empire.

Brenda Blakes, 20, of Elk Grove, also died in the crash while riding on the bike with Rummerfield.

The Stanislaus County Coroner’s office identified the two motorcycle riders as victims killed in a crash about 10:30 p.m. on Tuesday, August 3rd.

The bike collided with a small grey sedan at the intersection of South Santa Fe and South Avenues.

Paramedics responded and rushed Brenda Blakes to a Modesto hospital where she later died due to her injuries.

Meanwhile, Bruce Rummerfield was pronounced dead at the scene.

Authorities closed down the intersection of South Santa Fe and South Avenues .

Investigators seek to determine liability for the deadly crash.
