3 Hurt in San Andreas Crash on Highway 49 at Highway 12
SAN ANDREAS, Calif, (April 21, 2021) – Bryan Bowman, Linda Henson and Narciso Sanchez were injured Tuesday in a multi-vehicle collision on Highway 49 in San Andreas, Calaveras County.
The drivers were involved in a 3-vehicle crash about 3:15 p.m. on April 20th, according to the California Highway Patrol.
Additionally, the injury crash happened at the intersection of Highway 49 and Highway 12.
3-Vehicle Crash Highway 49 in San Andreas
Narciso Sanchez, 86, of Pioneer, allegedly set off the collision when his northbound 1953 Chevrolet pickup truck drifted into the opposing traffic and he collided head-on with two vehicles. He first struck a southbound 2020 Ford F-150 pickup truck and then a Dodge Caravan.
Bryan Bowman, 61, of Modesto, drove the pickup and the Dodge was driven by Linda Henson of, San Andreas.
Paramedics airlifted Narciso Sanchez to Memorial Medical Center for treatment of major injuries. Meanwhile, paramedics transported Brian Bowman to Doctor’s Medical Center for moderate injuries. Finally, Linda Henson suffered minor injuries in the crash.
Furthermore, investigators seek to determine fault for the San Andreas crash.
