Man, 29, Struck and Killed at Florence Avenue On-Ramp to I-5 Freeway

SANTA FE SPRINGS, Calif. (Jan. 25, 2024) – Bryan Stewart, 29, died in a pedestrian accident early Wednesday morning on the Florence Avenue on-ramp to the Interstate 5 Freeway near Santa Fe Springs.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision occurred at around 5:18 a.m. at the southbound freeway’s on ramp.

Police officers responded and located the victim with major injuries and he was pronounced dead at the scene. He was later identified as Bryan Stewart by the Los Angeles County Sheriff Coroner.

Meanwhile, police issued a SigAlert and closed down the Florence Avenue on-ramp.

Finally, investigators are working to determine fault for the fatal pedestrian accident on Florence Avenue.
