3 Car Crash, Passengers Stuck In Vehicle
Buellton, Calif. (July 13, 2023) — A car accident happened Thursday afternoon on the US 101 Highway near Jonata Park Road in Buellton California.
The collision occurred about 3:46 p.m. on July 13th, near Jonata Road in Santa Barbara County according to a California Highway Patrol dispatch.
Three vehicles were involved in this accident, which caused major debris in the first lane of the freeway. One of the cars involved was a pickup truck which landed in the center divide of the roadway. The passengers in the pickup truck became stuck inside the vehicle but remained conscious. Due to the accident the roadway became shut down in both directions.
Paramedics responded to help those hurt in the crash.
Meanwhile, tow trucks arrived to remove the damaged vehicles and debris from the blocked lanes.
Investigators are working on the case to determine fault of the car accident in Buellton on the US 101.
