2-Vehicle Crash on I-5 Freeway in Buena Park
BUENA PARK, Calif. (Dec. 18, 2024) — A two-vehicle Buena Park car accident happened Wednesday morning on the northbound Interstate 5 Freeway near Artesia Boulevard.
The traffic collision occurred at around 8:46 a.m. on Dec. 18th, according to the California Highway Patrol.
CHP officials responded and located a grey Ford Escape SUV with moderate rear-end damage and a Mitsubishi Montero with front-end damage.
The vehicles collided in the HOV lane due to unknown circumstances, but it appears from the damage that the Mitsubishi rear-ended the Ford.
Paramedics responded to help at least one person with minor injuries and both vehicles were towed from the crash scene.
Meanwhile, investigators are working to determine liability for the crash on the 5 Freeway in Buena Park.
