
BUENA PARK, Calif. (Feb. 28, 2023) — A multi-vehicle crash happened Tuesday morning on the westbound Artesia 91 Freeway, just west of West Knott Avenue.
The collision occurred about 6:44 a.m. on Feb. 28th between at least four motorists, according to a California Highway Patrol report.
The vehicles, including a blue Kia Sportage, a Tesla and two others, were blocking the HOV and No. 1 lanes of the freeway.
Paramedics responded to help those hurt in the crash including Armando Campos who suffered minor injuries and had complaints of pain. He was riding as a passenger in one of the vehicles. He was taken by ambulance to West Anaheim Medical Center in Anaheim. Also, a driver from one of the vehicles also suffered injuries and was taken to the same hospital.
Additionally, tow trucks removed at least two of the damaged vehicles including the Tesla from the roadway.
Meanwhile, investigators are working on the case to determine fault for the Buena Park crash on the 91 Freeway.
