3 Hospitalized After 6-Vehicle Collision in Buena Park
BUENA PARK, Calif. (June 26, 2024) — A wrong-way driver in a Tesla allegedly set off a six-vehicle rollover crash Tuesday afternoon on Beach Boulevard in Buena Park.
The multi-vehicle traffic collision occurred at around 4 p.m. on June 25th, the Orange County Fire Authority said.
Paramedics from the OCFA responded and transported three people with serious injuries to a hospital, the report said.
It all began when a driver in a white Tesla SUV was allegedly speeding and traveling in the wrong direction before it collided with several other vehicles. The Tesla was one of two vehicles that overturned in the collision.
The Buena Park Police Department responded with firefighters to the scene and began their investigation into what happened.
They found two vehicles overturned with drivers trapped inside. Firefighters extricated the motorists and they were among the three taken to hospitals.
The Buena Park Police Department is heading up the investigation.
