At Least 1 Injured in Collision on Santa Ana (5) Freeway Tuesday
Buena Park, CA (August 18, 2021) – A road crash involving a Tesla car occurred Tuesday evening on Interstate 5, also known as Santa Ana Freeway, according to the California Highway Patrol dispatch.
Earlier reports indicated a white Model 3 Tesla collided with a gray Range Rover in the southbound side of the freeway. Officials said the crash accident took place near Stanton Avenue in Buena Park.
CHP logged the incident shortly before midnight.
Minor Injury Car Crash in Buena Park, August 17
When medical personnel arrived at the location, they immediately rendered aid to all possible victims. Our sources confirmed one person suffered a broken finger from the collision. Pending confirmation, the name of the victim and their condition at this time have not been revealed thus far.
An ambulance responded to the incident but it remained unclear if paramedics transported the victim to the hospital.
Detectives stayed at the scene to investigate the precise circumstances that led to the car crash in Buena Park.
