BURBANK (April 10, 2017)- According to the Los Angeles Times, a man identified as Jin Soo Ohh, 74, of Burbank, was killed in an accident Friday afternoon at the intersection of Empire Avenue and Frederic Street.
The incident took place at around 2:35 p.m. between a bicyclist and a vehicle.
Jin Soo Oh was the bicyclist headed eastobund on Empire before preparing to turn right on to Frederic. Jin Soo Oh was suddenly struck by a passing motorist suffering a serious head injury.
He was rushed to USC Medical Center where he sadly died a short while later.
Oh was not wearing a helmet at the time of the accident which could have saved his life had he been wearing one.
No further details have been released at this time as liability remains unclear.
