Motorcyclist Injured in Burbank Collision on Interstate 5 Freeway
BURBANK, Calif. (Oct. 19, 2022) — A fiery, motorcycle versus car accident happened Wednesday morning on the northbound Interstate 5 Freeway at West Empire Avenue in Burbank.
The collision occurred about 3:08 a.m. on Oct. 19th, just north of San Fernando Boulevard, according to a California Highway Patrol dispatch.
The vehicles collided due to unknown circumstances in the Nos. 3 and 4 lanes. A white sedan collided with the motorcycle rider and reportedly caught on fire. Debris was scattered all over the roadway, the report said.
The Burbank Fire Department responded with paramedics to help those hurt in the crash.
Meanwhile, tow trucks removed at least one of the damaged vehicles from the freeway.
Investigators are working on the case to determine fault for the Burbank motorcycle accident on the 5 Freeway.
