Teenage Girl Killed in Car Accident on Lorton Avenue Monday
Burlingame, CA (May 15, 2021) – On May 10, Monday, a deadly car crash occurred on Lorton Avenue in between Howard and Bayswater avenues.
The Daily Journal published an article online indicating a Black Acura SUV crashed into a parked vehicle in the 100 block of Lorton Avenue in Burlingame.
Per local news source, the force from the impact resulted in serious injuries to the teen passenger in the SUV. Paramedics rushed the victim to a regional hospital for treatment but she eventually succumbed to her injuries and died. Pending confirmation and notification of next of kin, the identity of the deceased remained undisclosed.
Teenage Driver Arrested After Deadly Car Crash in Burlingame, May 10
Police reportedly arrested the driver, briefly identified as a teenage boy, in relation with the horrible crash. The exact charges against the suspect have not been discussed thus far.
Authorities submitted the tragic case to the Juvenile Division of the San Mateo County District Attorney’s Office.
Further investigation on the fatal car crash in Burlingame is ongoing.
