Pedestrian Seriously Injured in Burney Crash on Enterprise Drive Near Main Street
BURNEY, CA (November 5, 2021) – A pedestrian was seriously injured after a crash on Enterprise Drive in Burney.
According to the California Highway Patrol dispatch team, the accident took place on Friday afternoon. Officers reported the incident at about 1:48 p.m.
CHP said a vehicle struck the pedestrian for an unknown reason in Burney. The driver hit the person at 37451 Enterprise Drive near the Precision Lube Express.
Victim Hit by Vehicle
Firefighters along with the paramedics soon arrived at the scene near Main Street, known as Highway 299. They found the victim ended up suffering from major injuries as a result of the collision.
Medical personnel then rushed the patient to a hospital for treatment. The report did not disclose the name of the wounded party and their condition at this time.
Meanwhile, CHP did not mention if the motorist stopped and stayed at the site after hitting the person. Officers forced a stretch of Enterprise Drive to close following the collision.
The cause of the Burney pedestrian crash is still under investigation.
