
3-Vehicle Crash at Rosecrans and Broadway
RANCHO DOMINGUEZ, Calif. (August 25, 2023) — A multi-vehicle bus accident at West Rosecrans Avenue and South Broadway happened Friday afternoon in the Rancho Dominguez area.
The three-vehicle collision occurred around 12:43 p.m. on August 25th, according to the California Highway Patrol.
CHP officials reported the drivers of a white Ford van, a blue Nissan Sentra and the transportation bus were involved in the collision.
The Los Angeles County Fire Department sent paramedics to the crash scene to help those injured, but there are no specific details.
A driver in the Nissan became trapped in their vehicle and it was blocking Rosecrans Avenue, just north of Broadway. The bus jumped the sidewalk during the crash.
One of the vehicles knocked down a pedestrian crosswalk sign/pole on the northeast coroner of the intersection.
Tow trucks removed the damaged vehicles including the bus with a broken front axle.
The Los Angeles Police Department is heading up the investigation.
