Minor-Injury Crash on Nelson Lane in Butte County
BUTTE COUNTY, Calif. (July 1, 2020) — A child suffered minor injuries Wednesday morning after a car rear-ended an SUV at Nelson Lane and Highway 65 in Nelson.
The crash was reported at 10:07 a.m. on July 1st to the California Highway Patrol.
The driver in a black Acura SUV suffered major rear-end damage and a black Acura sedan had major front-end damage after the collision, police said. A metering light pole was also knocked over in the collision.
The child was laying on the ground when police arrived with paramedics. The injured were treated for minor injuries on scene, but it’s unknown if there was anyone taken to a hospital.
The cause of the crash and liability are under investigation.
