Crane Driver Injured in Collision Near Corcoran Road
Buttonwillow, CA (April 29, 2022) – One person died, and another suffered injuries following a traffic accident that occurred on State Route 46.
The KGET News reported 64-year-old Albert Lee Lepper, of Benicia, was driving a passenger vehicle traveling east on the highway. When the motorist approached the area near Corcoran Road, Lepper swerved into the westbound lane. The car ended up crashing into a crane vehicle.
The catastrophic incident took place on April 21.
When rescue teams arrived at the location, they immediately rendered aid to both Lepper and the driver of the crane vehicle. Our sources confirmed the driver of the crane sustained minor injuries as a result of the wreck. Personal information on the victim remained undisclosed pending confirmation.
